What we collect
- Account information: email address, authentication data
- Conversation data: messages you send and responses you receive
- Usage data: conversation counts, subscription status
- Payment data: billing is handled by Lemon Squeezy — we receive subscription status but not card details
How we use it
- To provide the service and generate AI responses
- To enforce usage limits and subscription status
- To improve the service
- To send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset)
Third-party services
- Supabase: database and authentication hosting (EU-based servers available)
- Anthropic: AI model provider — your messages are processed by Anthropic's API to generate responses
- Lemon Squeezy: payment processing
- Vercel: hosting and edge infrastructure
Your rights (GDPR & other)
You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To delete your account and all associated data, go to Account Settings and use the "Delete account" option. For other requests, contact us at privacy@askthegreats.com.
Data retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your profile and conversation data are permanently deleted from our systems within 30 days.
