What Legend Advice is

Legend Advice provides AI-generated simulations of historical figures. Every response you receive is produced by an artificial intelligence system — not by the historical person named, and not by a human being acting on their behalf.

The AI is trained on and draws from each figure's real published writings, documented philosophy, and historical record. Responses are grounded in those sources but are generated, not retrieved. They represent thoughtful AI interpretation, not verbatim quotation.

What these simulations are not

• They are not communications from the actual historical figures.
• They are not authoritative statements of those figures' views on any topic.
• They are not substitutes for reading the actual primary sources.
• They are not professional advice of any kind — legal, medical, financial, or psychological.

Disclosure in the product

In compliance with California SB 243 and analogous requirements, Legend Advice:

• Shows an explicit disclosure screen before your first message in any conversation.
• Displays a persistent "AI simulation" label in the chat interface.
• Instructs each figure's AI to acknowledge its nature if sincerely asked.
• Links to this page from every conversation interface.

Accuracy and limitations

AI systems can produce inaccurate, misleading, or fabricated content. Even when grounded in real source material, the AI may extrapolate, misrepresent, or generate plausible-sounding but incorrect statements. Do not treat anything in a conversation as a factual claim about what the historical figure actually wrote, said, or believed without verifying it against primary sources.

Crisis situations

If your conversation involves distress, self-harm, or crisis, the AI is instructed to respond with care and direct you to real help rather than continuing in character. Additionally, we detect certain language patterns server-side and surface crisis resources directly in the interface. If you are in crisis, please reach out to a real person:
